CARBON FOOTPRINTING
With the realization that every additional carbon molecule combusted results in increased greenhouse gasses, increased global warming, and a lower oxygen percentage in the atmosphere, many sociably responsible companies are looking at reducing or eliminating their carbon footprint.
Alt-e will be only too pleased to help in this process and will follow the following process:
- Do an energy audit and an audit of carbon usage of the business,
- Prepare suggestions relating to improving energy efficiency, and reducing or eliminating carbon emissions produced by the firm; this will include looking at renewable energy production, improved use of passive heating and cooling in buildings, and offsetting any residual carbon footprint using carbon credits.
- We will help put together any applications to ESKOM DSM for funding and any help with the implementation of any programs,
- We will help with the implementation of any renewable energy strategy, including carbon trading,
- We will do annual audits and provide annual reports certifying carbon usage.
